Want To Conserve Confidentiality?

Everyone seems to know Rachel, as she tends to inadvertently hit the “Reply All” button when responding to group emails.

She has since requested that group emails be sent, instead of from the TO or CC fields, from the BCC field. This removes that tempting “Reply All” button, so Rachel can save her insightful responses for the intended recipient and spare others the clutter in their inboxes. By concealing recipients’ addresses to maintain their privacy, BCC complies with the FOIP (Freedom Of Information And Protection Of Privacy) Act.

Now Rachel is remembered by her colleagues for her efficient communication and her diligent respect of their privacy. Most of all, she enjoys responding to emails without the possibility of having an unexpected audience.
