Email Coming in Faster? Make a Quick StepWith the push of one button, quickly execute repetitive actions and cut out multiple steps. For instance, if you want to file the email in a folder and make a task.

For users of Outlook 2010 & 2013.

  1. In Mail, make sure the Home tab is highlighted.
  2. In the middle of the screen you’ll see Quick Steps.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow on the bottom right. The Manage Quick Steps screen will appear.
  4. Click New.
  5. Pick an action (e.g., Move to Folder). If what you want isn’t there, choose Custom.
  6. Name the quick step.
  7. Edit as you like.
  8. Press Finish.
