Feeling Stuck?

Tasks in Outlook help you break bigger jobs into bite-sized pieces.

For Outlook:

  1. In Tasks, create a new task
  2. In the subject line, describe the first step of the task
  3. When this step is done, change the subject line for the next step.

Dismantle Daunting Duties

Large, overwhelming tasks can cause us to procrastinate. By creating smaller tasks that ultimately lead to the completion of the large task, we create momentum and a sense of accomplishment.

Create yourself a new task, but instead of “plan golf tournament”, divide it into smaller pieces: contact sponsors for golf tournament, order promotional t-shirts.

Tasks are more manageable and rewarding when you can check them off your list.
